BIO
Dissident Display is an award winning high-end multimedia design
studio based in Washington, D.C. The studios and gallery of the
Dissident Display Collaborative specialize in providing progressive,
contemporary creative services and events for discerning clientele,
both on the national and international level. Founded in 2005 by
filmmaker Ayodamola Okunseinde and graphic designer Adrian Loving, DD
has swiftly become an artistic bellwether of the D.C. metro area. With
the addition of film/video auteur Eric Brewer in 2007, Dissident
Display continues to prove that a passion for innovation and
creativity is the motivating force that propels them to new heights.
In addition to its commercial output, the studio also organizes and
participates in exhibitions, film festivals and other creative
endeavors in the contemporary arts community. With clients such as
Motorola, Motown, Howard University, Saks Fifth Avenue and New York
Fashion Week, Dissident Display is sure to progressively carve out a
diverse niche for itself in the ever-evolving worlds of arts, media
and production
Ayodamola T. Okunseinde - Co-founder
As a creative director and visual artist working in the multimedia
field, ayo has worked with notable artists like Donald Odita and Ike
Ude. He has made significant contributions to the Washington D.C. arts
scene with his recent projects “Smacktv: a contemporary arts show” and
“Variance”.
Adrian C. Loving - Co-founder
A native of Washington, DC - Adrian is a Graphic Designer / DJ and
Event Planner. His travels abroad and extensive music study have
inspired the development of his diverse dance music sets that include,
Afro-Brazilian House, Disco, Soul and Electronica. Adrian is an avid
collector of rare films and pop culture media which he infuses into
his artistic collaborations.
