I was born in Moscow, USSR and started writing poetry at age 11. Having finished University of Virginia at age 18, I worked for several years in the computer industry, traveled all over America, and studied everything from physics to mysticism to social issues. In 2000 I went on a hippie trip around the country and lived off pomegranates and grapefruits and prickly cactuses I found on trees. I have translated three books of Russian poetry and written a book of poetry, called Poems to Julia, for my last girlfriend. In my poetry, I seek to combine romance, science, philosophy and religion to create a poetic experience that resonates at all levels of human beingness - that arrives at an integrative perspective that combines passion with spirituality with wisdom and intellect and inspires people to develop inner beauty and share it in relationships. I likewise seek to inspire people to see beauty around them and create works in all areas of human endeavor that do justice to universe and to mankind.
