Playing a dynamic mix of styles with roots in reggae, rock, and funk, Doc Night & The Hipnotix come from diverse musical backgrounds and have played or recorded with many legendary artists like D.C. go-go/rock innovators Outrage, Human Rights (w/ Joseph I and Earl Hudson of punk icons Bad Brains), reggae greats the Itals and Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus, D.C. hardcore pioneers Scream, and the internationally celebrated rock/funk outfit Dog Eat Dog.

Doc Night and the Hipnotix new release, "uspicious Activity" is due out on LionStar Internaitonal Recordings Fall 2006-- Worldwide

The Hipnotix have changed the band name to Doc Night & The Hipnotix to avoid legal hassles from a Czech Republic band with the same name. This is effective 2005. We would like to welcome Ian O'donohue (Guitars), Christy Love (backup vocals) and Deborah Enten( percussion)
to the band they have palyed several shows and are a great asset to the DNTH team!

Doc Night was recently on WPFW's Rhythms of the World radio show 89.3 FM, www.wpfw.org, on Wed Oct 12 at 10:00PM to discuss the new CD, Suspicious Activity due out on Lionstar International Records in January. The upcoming DNTH World Tour which is slated to begin in Fall 2006.
